## Overview

Sail from the old harbour of Urla İskele to the bays and islets of the Gulf of İzmir, with skippers, swim stops and lunch on board.

Urla İskele, the town's historic harbour, is the starting point for a sailing day among the islets and quiet bays of the outer Gulf of İzmir. The sea here is usually calmer than on the Çeşme side, which makes it a good choice for teams new to sailing.

The group is split across several sailing yachts, each with a licensed skipper. After a short briefing, guests take turns at the helm, trim the sails and learn the basics of tacking. Around midday the boats anchor in a bay for a swim and lunch on board.

In the afternoon, the skippers can set up a short friendly race between the boats or simply sail back slowly. Back at İskele, the group can finish at a seafood restaurant on the harbour.
