Fishing trip with lunch on board

We charter traditional wooden fishing boats with captains who have fished these waters for years, in Bodrum, the Urla peninsula or around Fethiye. Each boat takes up to 12 people; larger groups sail in a small flotilla.

We leave the harbour at around 08:00. The captain and deckhand show everyone how to bait a hand line and rod, then take the boat to two or three spots known for bream, mackerel and red mullet. There is plenty of time between bites for coffee and conversation, and a swim stop once the sun is up.

At midday the crew cleans and grills the catch, served with salad, meze and bread at the table on deck. If the fish are not biting, the captain brings fresh fish from the morning market so nobody goes hungry. A slow, unhurried day that suits mixed groups and senior teams.
