Rose Valley takes its name from the pink and orange tones of its rock, which glow at the end of the day. The walk follows a marked trail between fairy chimneys, orchards and small churches cut into the rock, some of them with traces of frescoes.

The guide sets an easy pace, stops to explain the geology and the history of the valley, and leads the group up to a ridge viewpoint in time for sunset. Teams can be given small photo or navigation challenges along the way.

At the top there is tea and a snack, or a fuller sunset picnic as an add-on. Vehicles meet the group at the viewpoint, so there is no walk back in the dark.
