Corporate basketball day

We book a sports hall with two or more courts, changing rooms and seating, and set up a short tournament: 3x3 games on half courts in the group stage, then 5x5 knockout games on the main court. Teams can be mixed by department or built around office locations, and we keep at least one mixed-gender category.

Licensed referees run every game, an announcer calls the action, and a digital scoreboard and shot clock make it feel like a proper match. Between rounds, anyone who is not playing can enter a three-point and free-throw contest, so supporters have something to do besides cheer.

The final is played on the main court with music and an announcer, followed by trophies and a team photo. A sports physio is on site throughout, and we schedule enough rest between games for people who rarely play.
