Groups of eight to ten spend two days in the mountains above Sapanca, on the Uludağ plateau, on the Lycian Way near Fethiye or in the Cappadocia valleys. Each stage — a navigation leg, a rope crossing, setting up camp, a night-time task — has a different appointed leader, chosen by the facilitator rather than the team.

Mountain leaders handle safety and logistics, while a leadership facilitator walks with the group and observes. After each stage there is a 20-minute debrief in the field: what the leader decided, what information was missing, how the team responded when plans changed or energy dropped. The difficulty is set high enough to create real pressure but stays within what a healthy, non-athletic adult can manage.

The second afternoon ends with a longer session linking what happened in the mountains to how the team works in the office, and each participant writes three commitments. We send a written observation report to each participant afterwards.
