- Optional: a poll tool for remote voters
Step by step
- Give everyone two minutes to write two true facts and one believable lie.
- In groups of up to 10, one person reads their three statements.
- The others vote (hands up, chat or poll) on which statement is the lie.
- The speaker reveals the answer and may add a one-line story.
- Rotate until everyone has had a turn.
Facilitator tips
- Encourage work-safe, light facts; nobody should feel pushed to share personal details.
- For large groups, use breakout groups of 6–8 so the session stays under 20 minutes.
Variations
- Theme it: travel, first jobs or hidden talents.
- Team edition: each team writes statements about the team.
Accessibility
No movement needed. Allow written statements in the chat for people who prefer not to speak, and keep captions on for remote participants.
