In Oman, guests are welcomed with kahwa, coffee lightly roasted and brewed with cardamom and sometimes rosewater, served with dates. This workshop introduces the ritual and the values behind it.

A local host shows how the beans are roasted, ground and brewed in a dallah, the traditional coffee pot, and explains the etiquette: how the coffee is poured, how many cups to accept, and how to signal that you have had enough. Teams then prepare and serve coffee to each other and taste several varieties of Omani dates.

The workshop is relaxed and works well as a welcome activity on the first evening or as a cultural introduction before meetings with local partners.
