Teams of six to eight become the executive committee of a fictional company. At the start of the session they receive a short company profile and roles: CEO, finance, operations, communications, HR. Then the crisis begins — a product recall, a cyber incident or a supply disruption, chosen with you in advance so it is close enough to your sector to feel real.

Over three hours, a control team feeds in news reports, emails, calls from journalists and regulators, and social media posts through a simulation platform. Information is incomplete and sometimes contradictory, and decisions made early have consequences later. Each team ends by giving a short press statement on camera.

The final hour is a facilitated debrief using the timeline of every team's decisions: what they prioritised, who they informed and when, how roles held up under pressure. The simulation is designed and run by facilitators with crisis management and communications backgrounds.
